Mariam Asefi

Mariam Asefi, CEO & Co-Founder of the Medical Trust, is germans medical touris expert and been working on medical tourism projects since 2007. She worked in the UAE in Dubai at the German Emirati Joint Council and works since over 13 years for various leading German hospital groups in head positions in their international offices. Since 2021, she has additional taken over the research department of medical tourism at the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Mariam Asefi is the editor and author of the first German practical handbook on medical tourism. Furthermore she has many years of experience as a trainer for intercultural interaction with internationale patients in German hospitals. She gave lectures on medical tourism in Germany, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Russia, Ukraine and Portugal.
